I've been a Cliff fan since I was 11, and that was in 1962. He's the absolute best and greatest.
Once, in 1965 or 1966, I saw him in Albufeira (Algarve). He used to have a summer house there. I made my father drive past the house, and just luckily for me, he was just driving out of the house in his E type Jaguar - white, I think it was. My mother quickly jumped out of the car and started waving and shouting to him. He very kindly stopped the car, smiled, and my mother took a photo of him. Very gracious.
He has sung in Belgium several times in the last 10-12 years, and I managed to see him twice. What an experience!
I'm glad to be around others who love Cliff as much as I do!

Hello everybody! Just came back from London where I“ve seen Cliff "Live and Kickin“" at the Royal Albert Hall stage...impecable and great he was of course like in all of his concerts! Can you imagine a summer night concert at Herodion open-air roman theatre below the Acropolis?

I had the chance to see him twice this year both in London (Live and Kicking) and in Edinburgh (Summer Nights). Both concerts were superb of course. Up to that moment I had never seen him live in Concert. So I could not understand why the fans were clapping hands and cheering and dancing. AFTER THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL CONCERT, EVERYTHING WAS CLEAR !!!!!
Theodore, you are absolutely right. Cliff in Herodion Theatre in a moonlit night is something I would like very much to see. Having in mind that we, the greek fans, are not too many, this fantasy will probably remain exactly what it is. Only a dream!!!

We are Rinus and Fabiola from the Netherlands.
Rinus is a Cliffhanger since 1980. I was then 4 years old, so I am not a fan as that long. Actually, I was real controntrated with his music when I met Rinus in 1994. First Rinus said to me I shouldn't like the music on his walkman, but when I asked him what he was listening to, he told me it was Cliff. I said I didn't know much of his songs. I wouldn't judge over him. When I was 11 years old I did tape "Some people" from the radio and I've played it over and over again.
Rinus made me two tapes of Cliff-music and I really loved the songs. It was in the first days we've met and we are still very in love.

I have been a fan of Cliff for many, many years now, since way back in 1957, in fact before he even really became famous. I used to go to see him when he used to sing in places like the 2 I“s coffee bar in Soho, London, and eversince then, have been supporting him and his music. As a young girl at school my friends and I used to go to his house, then in Whinchmore Hill, we used to live very near, to get “photos and autographs.
Since then I married a Spaniard, we lived for a long time in London, then Mallorca and eventually here in Granada, Spain. I have two children, and my daughter, now almost 33, is also a fan of his. She lives in Wembley, London, and as I cannot very easily get to concerts, she keeps me in touch and up to date with everything. My son is also into music, he used to have a group here in Granada. He is into the heavy or semi-heavy stuff. He still clings on to his guitar and now composes his own songs. He is waiting for a break for someone to get in touch with him, he is a good little musician and composer!!!!!!
Anyway, for me there is no one like Cliff. I would just love to hear from other Cliff fans from anywhere in the world. Just one thing more I would like to add and that is, if there are any Arsenal fans out there, I would also love to hear from them, you see both my husband and I are No. 1 Arsenal fans.

Hi, sincere Cliff lovers - I have been listening to cliff's music and his genuine effort in all aspect of his life since 1971, but wait a minute, I also remember along with millions in East Africa when as kids we used to see his films in the remote fields of Uganda and also in cinemas. I first went to see his show in this country at the Palladium (1971/2) and it was really good - you at least can listen what he is singing about and all that sweetness in his voice - only to legends like cliff and recognised by other true legends like Elton John, Phil Everly and Olivia Newton John and many more ,except few cowards and arrogant/ignorant like Chris Evans and the likes of him. Well done Cliff - I may not be a fanatic fan, but do believe in fairness and fair air play after record holdings of number ones and goodness, did you know how many hits did Cliff have under 10 and 5 - this substantiates his contribution to music world and my god not all of them are Christians - so wake up and think that we have a right to listen to cliff's music - it was not for the minority to decide overnight not to play his records - here is a challenge and I have done my own marketing research out of interest ( my secret ) and did you know when asked about cliff's music generally, hardly anyone objected from the uk population - I have the evidence - all legal and also who were these guys ruling out cliff without full survey ? - this I think was a self created hated by some radio presenters - not all and some were just too scared to loose jobs - wake up with truth and you are still forgiven - long live good, honest and sincere music whichever corner it comes from. I have been a big fan of Cliffs since I first heard Don't be mad at me in the early sixties. It took me year's to get this record because it was a B side and I didn't know the A side. I found it at a record fair. The first time I went to see Cliff it he was fantastic he did a really good Rock & Roll show. We recently obtained an album of Aleksander Mezek and Cliff duets with him singing Love that knows no end, the words to this song are very special to us. Enyone else heard this record?

Hello, I have been a cliff fan for a few years now. I think hes absolutely fantastic in everything he does. It does annoy me though that some people can't see this. Especially when my friends laugh at me for loving Cliff. But i suppose everyone has there own taste. I have to say that my all time favourite has most definately got to be Heathcliff. The show is excellent and the songs are the best. I went to see Cliff last year for the first time although i have loved him for many years. I just couldnt believe it was Cliff on the stage i couldnt stop crying and screaming. Its like i was in shock or something. But it was the best day of my life and always will be. This may upset some people, but although have followed Cliff on CD and been to concerts etc feel that without the support of Hank Marvin and the Shadows, (have seen Hank in concert several times as well) in the early years things might of been very different now and this gets forgotten.
The new CD is good but surely now Sir Cliff is a lot older i am not sure what audience he is mainly trying for.

I have always liked cliff he is such a talented entertainer the first time i saw him on tv i was 14 years of age and i have been hooked ever since i an now 55 years of age is that sad or what? i went to see him in Edinburgh it was Heathcliff I missed half the show as the weather was awfull snow at the time and the roads were bad it took ages to get there after the show we went for a curry and cliff came in to the same restuarant sat at the next table and i could not even say hello what a chance I had and I just froze so between missing half the show because of the weather and not being able to enjoy my curry I think at my age things would change but no I still like him as much as ever.

Really enjoyed Friday nights show, atmosphere was great, I touched the sunglasses but they slipped behind me! Attended the concert at Newcastle Telewest Arena on Saturday 2nd November and really enjoyed the whole show. A wonderful performer, an incredible voice and lovely smile. Hi everyone, I have been a fan from the very beginning when I saw Cliff on 'Oh Boy'. I was priviledged to know him for several years in the 60's. I have taken photos of him since Blackpool 1963, when I first met him. Hi. I have been a Cliff Fan since Move It - I have been to many concerts over the years - the firs time I ever saw him live was at a Church Youth Club Rally at Westminster Central Hall in Approx 1964 and have been a fan for even longer - my kids think I am mad - but they like his music too. He lives near me (about 10 miles away) but I have never managed to bump into him in the Supermarket yet!!, I haven't even seen his car around Weybridge - but hopefully one day I will!

Have loved this great man for well over 30 years maybe longer I don't like to think the way that the years go in. I have really grown up with him. Last saw Cliff in November 2002 in Newcastle, it was a treat from my dear husband for our 35th wedding anniversary, he even came himself and could not believe what a brilliant artist Cliff is although I had been trying to educate him all these years. However, he was absolutely brilliant. Like a lot of other fans I always wanted my children to write to Jimmy Saville to fix it for me to meet Cliff but they never took the hint.
